What Could Be The Remedy For A Person's Inability To Read From A Certain Distance Or Recognize People's Face ?
HI. A friend of mine isn t able to recognise people s faces. He had consulted a retina specialist and a neurologist but they weren t able to find a solution. He is not able to read from certain distances and does not easily recognise people s faces. Pls do give a solution to this problem

Your friend is unable to read and recognize friends.He needs testing for visual acuity, fundus for papiledema, retinal changes, visual field testing. He needs VEP testing and MRI brain to rule out Visual agnosia ( where vision testing normal but inability to recognize, this is due to structure lesion at cortical association areas of brain)Also require to rule out prosopgnosias.Take second opinion from neurologist

Poor vision in the eyes could be due to refractive errors in the eyes. Please consult an optician or an ophthalmologist to have a thorough eye test and he may give a prescription glasses which significantly improves your vision. Hope this is of help. regards
