Question: Is it possible to have endometriosis aged70. I have had it all my life since I was 19 and it has been suggested that it could be pressing on my bowel or bladder.

Endometriosis can sometimes persist after menopause; or hormones taken for menopausal symptoms may cause the symptoms of endometriosis to continue. Estrogen and a weak immune system also promote the growth of endometriosis. Since you had endometriosis since you were 19 the scar tissue on the bowel or bladder may be persistent. Could my medication have encouraged the endometriosis to keep growing?
