Is It Safe To Give Cyclopam For A 3 Month Old Baby?
Try the option of breast milk if feasible.Burp properly.Give Colimex.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Cyclopam contains Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic. Although it can be used in a child of 3 months, I doubt whether it is needed. Rather, giving Colimex (contains Simethicone) as and when required, might be more relevant. It reduces the abdominal distention which might be the cause of colic in children of this age.
Let me remark that breast milk is the best possible feed for a baby. Most formula milks are cow milk based and hence difficult for the child to digest. It could be the cause of the mentioned problems. Breast milk, even in the expressed form, could be the solution you could be looking for.
You need to burp the baby properly. Hold the baby upright for about 20 mins after each feed. Unless that is done, regurgitation could occur. If vomiting still continues, it might be worthwhile to visit a pediatrician and to get the child evaluated.
Hope that helps.

The cause of the vomitings needs to be evaluated.
Detailed Answer:
In case of not taking breast feeding properly and associated vomiting, anatomical problems like pyloric stenosis or other causes of intestinal obstruction need to be ruled out. Children of such an age can present with such problems. You need to get the child evaluated by a doctor first. I would not suggest trying cyclopam without consulting a doctor. I would suggest you not to ignore it as it could be serious.
