Brief Answer:
causes of irregular menses to be determined.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the details.
Dear,
You have very irregular periods.
So it is very important to determine the cause.
Most of the time, treatment of the cause can normalize the periods.
So I would suggest you to go for some investigations to rule out some common causes of irregular menses:
1. Thyroid function tests to rule out thyroid dysfunction.
2. Serum prolactin, LH, FSH levels.
3. Fasting blood sugar levels.
4. An ultrasound scan and physical examination to rule out PCOD.
Most of these conditions are manageable with drugs. The important thing is choice of right drug and treatment plan.
The drugs which you are taking, although safe, may not help in conception or regularization of menses.
Kindly consult a gynecologist for further management.
Feel free to discuss further.
Thanks.
