Adderall 30 is an Amphetamine drug and it is a stimulant drug. Phentermine is related to amphetamines and the drug also causes stimulation and excitation. It is used in weight loss programs. Adderall is known to cause weight loss in individuals taking it. As per my opinion Phentermine should be avoided with Adderall because this may result in significant excitation, restlessness, headache and anxiety. Taking two drugs together may result in insomnia. So as per my opinion for some time it is not advisable to take these drugs together. Consult your doctor before making any change in your prescription.

what if I stopped my Adderall and started the phentermine and the reason I ask that is because I have been on Adderall for almost 4 years and it does not make me lose weight at all I am still able to eat even after I take it and its effects have started working sometimes it works a little better when I eat after its effects have started and it is crucial I lose weight right now

Adderall is basically a drug that is used in ADD and some other psychiatric disorders. It is not commonly used as first line drug for weight loss. As per my opinion Phentermine would be better option if weight loss is only issue.

Apart from this continue to follow dietary changes and life style changes for weight loss. Take diets rich in proteins and complex carbs and low in fats and refined carbs. Exercise daily and brisk walk will help you in losing weight. If you have stopped Adderall and are going to start then there is no issue. Give a gap of 3-5 days to prevent any anxiety and restlessness due to drugs.

I take the Adderall for my ADD which is a severe case but I need to lose weight and am willing to stop the Adderall for a while if I have to just to lose some weight since I have no other option but I must say doing that will cause a lot of problems just to be honest my last question is what about my suboxone can phentermine be took with that and my other meds

As per my opinion no significant drug interactions with Suboxone but taking the drug along with Doxepine may result in increased risk of serotonin syndrome. Doxepine is a Tricyclic antidepressant drug and should be avoided with Phentermine. Other drugs are relatively safe with Phentermine.

But Phenrargan and Doxepine both can cause weight gain. I would advise you to consult your doctor for change in doses of these drugs or to replace them with other drugs that don't cause weight gain.
