Is It Safe To Have Sandoz Brand Omeprazole Instead Of Mylan Brand Omeprazole?

Question: I have been taking Mylan Brand Omeprazole delayed-released capsules 40mg as prescribed by my doctor for over 5 years.I get my prescription filled at a CVS pharmacy in XXXXXXX Ga.I employer Health Insurance pays for my medication.I am also still employed(30 yrs)I donot use any other Insurance by choice.
For some reason CVS occassionly without my approval and knowledge until I unstaple the bag and check after I leave there to go home;give me Sandoz instead.I have communicated with them about this on many occassions,I donot want any brand except MYLAN.On every bottle I take to the pharmacy states Take one capsule By mouth every day(MUST BE MYLAN)
Why do they do this?I donot want to change.

Thanks for the query.

Omeprazole is an over the counter medication. Please mention to the pharmacist and insist on Mylan. please go and return and go the brand you are comfortable with. I mus though that Sandoz is a good brand as well.
I have no idea why they change brands, maybe they get a better profit margin with Sandoz.
