Is It Safe To Have Vyvanse And Adderall At The Same Day?

Question: I am prescribed adderall (60 mg) a day which I split up into 4's........is it possible to get vyvanse to take n the morning and 15mg of adderall prn. throughout the day depending on the number of projects thrown at me in a day?

Not advisable to take both of these drugs together

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

I understand your query and concern.

Both adderall and Vyvanse belong to same category of drugs.

Hence its not advisable to take both of them together in a day.

You are more prone to the risk of side effects if both drugs are used even on PRN basis as both these drugs have high degree of abuse potential.

It will be better if you can stick to only 15 mg of adderall a day on prn basis.
