Question: Benicar 40mg

Brief Answer:
post procedure BP control
Detailed Answer:
Hi! It is normal to have fluid loss during the preparation of colonoscopy with laxatives as well as keeping the patient nill by mouth further lead to low blood pressure. So the episode if low blood pressure in your wife would have been the sequelae of these both.
As far now, it would be advisable to half the dose keeping in view the recent BP readings, and to monitor the bold pressure thrice daily for coming 2 or 3 days. If it is found to be less than 100/60 then dose needs to be skipped. Meanwhile ensure good oral intake and adequate water replacement.
