Is It Safe To Take Brainfire Supplement While On Losartan And Gabapentin?

default

Question: I've been reading about Brainfire. It touts itself as being only natural ingredients, but cyanide and other deadly poisons are natural, too, so that doesn't mean much to me. I am not familiar with all the ingredients listed for Brainfire and have been trying to do some rudimentary research because I have CAA and am drug sensitive in general. I take losatan, and triamt/hctz to deal with tendency toward hypertension, and gabapentin for the severe headaches I occasionally get, which are also part of postherpetic neuropathy from Shingles which I had several years ago in one quadrant of my head, and in my left eye. I was taking daily maximum of acetaminaphen regularly arthritis and back pain, but was advised to cut that out. All this is background to ask you what positive or negative effects I might experience taking a supplement like Brainfire. Thank you so much.

Brief Answer:
No scientific basis to prove its claim...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I am not sure why you wish to use this unknown product. These days I find many products advertised to manage weight, improve memory/cognition and brain functions. However these agents are no approved by federal drug agency (FDA). Alas! Brainfire is one such advertised product. There are no scientific studies / clinical trials done with this product to know about the positive and negative aspects.

Furthermore, it is a known fact that brain ages just likely any other organ and body part. After its 70th birthday, I am sure brain cells of most individuals have lower memory capabilities. There is very little that modern science can do with it. Accordingly I doubt brainfire or any other advertised product can bring about significant improvements to neurological functions. If you are one with more severe memory and cognition problems when compared to your peers, I will instead suggest you to visit a neurologist. There are few drugs that improve blood circulation to unaffected brain cells. Those can to some extent help or atleast reduce progress of cognitive / memory disability.

In a nutshell, my answers to your questions are:
1. The content of this supplement is not known. Though a few sites proposed list of ingredients, I did not find them accurate and worthy.
2. Without approved clinical trials the positive and negative aspects of this product is not known.
3. In this age group, I really doubt this product or any other product will produce brain function improvement.
4. Though I am not sure there are no positive effects, the only negative aspect that I can see is that this one might burn your pocket before there could be a noticable positive effects.

Hope you found this answer useful.
