Question : I am taking hydrochlorothiazine and levothyroxine and crestor, the previous drugs were lisinopril and the blood pressure use to be 70/120 for about 6 months, now my blood pressure gets to 90/160 untell i take a potassium pill or eat a banna

It is unclear why Lisinopril was stopped and hydrocholorothiazide started. What was the lsisnopril dose and what is the hydrochlorothiazide dose now?

I must say that hydrochlorothiazide is a weaker drug compared to Lisinopril. Besides, hydrochlorothiazide may worsen the cholesterol status and may also induce diabetes in big doses. Lisinopril is diabetes and cholseterol friendly.
