Is It Safe To Take Nausetil For Nausea With Susceptible Diagnosis Of Lung Cancer?
Yes, she can take antiemetic drugs.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your aunt's situation and problem.
Yes, possibility of drug induced vomiting is more in her case.
She is taking tramadol. It is having side effect of nausea and vomiting.
She is also taking other painkillers. And these all cause drug induced gastritis. And this can also cause nausea and vomiting.
So she should take combination of proton pump inhibitors and antiemetic drugs.
Pantoprazole and domperidone combination is available.
Ask her to avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids orally.
And start proton pump inhibitors and antiemetic drugs.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your aunt. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply.. She is taking oxycodone 5mg not tramadol.
Ok . I have given her the nausetil (prochlorperazine 5mg) and she seems bit better. We couldn't get that combination you said over here but is the nausetil ok? It wouldn't interfere with her oxycodone or voltaren or interfere with anything if she has some kind of lung cancer??
No need to worry for drug interactions.

Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
If she is better with nausetil, you can give it. No harm in it. And no need to worry for drug interactions. This will not create problem with the drugs she is taking.
But do discuss about starting combination of proton pump inhibitors and antiemetic drugs with her doctor. This combination will help her a lot.
Hope I have solved your query.
