Brief Answer:
This combination is harmless.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern towards the safety of Nexium and Lotrel.

There is no documented interaction between these two medications.
However, the following side effects can develop during the course of treatment.

Nexium on prolonged used may cause thinning of the bones, deficiency of vitamin B12, and a possible risk of infection (very rare).

Lotrel consists of two drugs Amlodipine and Benzapril

Amlodipine can cause swelling of the feet, constipation, increased heart rate
Benzapril can cause dry cough, swelling of the face, etc.

if you develop dry cough during the treatment, Benzapril should be stopped and an alternate drug should be substituted.

Hope this answers your query.
Wishing you best of your health.
