Question: yes, i have a private question. Viagra is not working for me. I am 66 years old. I was recetly discharged from stroke with a lot congratulations from the doctors during the discharge from the hospital. Soon after that, my primary doctor prescribed an alternative sildenafil that is working for me with no side effect. I am not sure as its safety is concerned. my research talents using drugs.come are not as efficient as these were bfore the stroke. I spent more than an hour on the site now more confused. that is why I am tresspassing you time with indulgence. hoping you will give me a clear answer making me less confused. lol

Please, what is the name of the drug!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about the stroke you and and your difficulties getting the drugs' information online. What drug did your doctor prescribe that worked for you better than viagra(sildenafil) and you are not sure of its safety? Was this cialis(taladafil)? If cialis is the drug you are looking for, then it is as safe as viagra.
If this drug is approved by the FDA and your physician prescribed it, then the safety must have been cleared of any potential dangers and you should not get too disturbed by this. I will appreciate if you can provide me with its name so that I can give you more information concerning its safety.
I hope this helps and falls in line with what you were looking for. I wish you well and feel free to ask for follow up clarifications if need be.

fhnk U Dr DItah, the first medicine my pimary doctor prescribed that was effetive is called Sildenafil. Later after the stroke when I asked for the refill he prescribed Viagra that he referred to as safer. However, Viagra was not effective. stroke took place after the refill. I asked again to replace viagra back by Sildenafil WHICH HE DID. when I checked the interaction/side-effects of Sildenafil on drugs.com I FOUND there were alerts against the use of this medicine [Sildenafil] within six months of the stroke or heart attack. Due to these alerts I got confused and decided to get you second opinion. Reading you reply and the facts that I ADDED TO MY QUERY AS A REPLY TO YOUR REPLY i DO NOT ANTICIPATE ANY CHANGES IN YOUR REPLY TO THIS FIRST CLARIFICATION THAT i AM ASKING FOR.
IF YOU FEEL OF CHANGING IN YOUR REPLY due to the additional info LET ME KNOW. i APPECIATE YOUR FIRST REPLY AND WAITING FOR THE SECOND. at THAT stage i WILL CONSOLIDATE MY OPINION TO REVIEW AND GRADE THE ANSWERS. i WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS AND THE INTEGRITY THAT IS REFLECTED IN YOUr REPLY.

Hi and thanks for your reply.
sildenafil and viagra are exactly the same drug. The only difference lies in the fact that one is a brand name(Viagra) while sildenafil is a generic name. However, it is the same product marketed under different names.
It is advisable to avoid this drug soon after a heart attack and strong because there is a significant increase in the heart activity during sex that can cause the heart to get overwhelmed or cause another bleed. This is just to make sure that your heart is again healthy before you indulge in intense sexual activities.
I hope this helps and do let me now if there is more information or clarification you would love to get fro me.
Thanks!
