jaundice is caused as a result of damage to liver parenchyma. And alcohol consumption is one of the causes of damage to liver thus causing jaundice. Liver does have the power to regenerate its damaged tissue if there is no cirrhosis. considering your recent life style modifications, jaundice is reversible if you stop consuming excess of alcohol.
