Question: I am having a squint problem in my eyes since I was 2 years old, and I am considering laser eye surgery, and wondering if I am a suitable candidate. I wear glasses/contacts (mostly glasses)

Since there is convergent squint as well as hypermetropia the situation needs careful assessment preoperatively.
Glasses relieve the squint but getting rid of glasses may precipitate convergence so muscle balance is to be properly checked by orthoptic examination.
