Question: How safe is laser surgery for the eye and which hospital provides the best treatment in XXXXXXX for power of -5.00 for both eyes? plz elaborate the rues and procedures for a laser surgery?

Power wise you are a good candidate for surgery. Still decision for surgery is to be decided by pachymetery (corneal thickness) and retinal examination and pressures in the eye.
A flap is made on the cornea, laser is applied on the corneal bed and the hinged flap is put back in place.
Since the flap is just placed back and not stitched there are few precautions, like not rubbing the eyes and continuing drops for about 6 months
