Question: I am interested in having Yag laser skin treatment on my face. But I worry about safety of the eyes during treatment. Are the goggles they have u wear adequate eye protection?
Brief Answer:
Laser safe for eyes
Detailed Answer:
My dear
Thanks for sending your query to us.
Laser acts where it is focused. It does not diffract. So it does not reach your eyes when your skin is treated. So do not worry and carry on with the treatment.
The goggles given are also for safety to keep away particle getting into the eye.
Any further query in this regard, please do get back to me.

What about IPL treatment while wearing goggles? Even w the goggles i could still see the light
Brief Answer:
Laser treatment is safe
Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
IPL or any other laser treatment with goggles on you will be able to see the light but that laser does not enter your eye so it burns the specific layer where it is focused.
The peculiarity of laser is that light doesn't diffract, thereby it is concentrated where it is focused.
We ue it in various layers of eye and it passes through other layers without harming.
You will be effected if it is focused on the eye and not by seeing laser rays.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
Regards
