As regards your query I would state that there are myths and misconception amongst common man's mind about superiority of the sterilization in female or male some of these are
1) There is loos of libido in males after Vasectomy .This has been proved to be false and misnomer by research and studies carried out by many center all over the world.
2) There is weight in females after Sterilization .The weight gain that occurs in some female is not due to sterilization but hormonal changes that woman undergo with advancing age . .
There are lots of research and scientific studies have been carried out all over the world and found that both the methods are equally good as far as objective of preventing child birth is concerned .and there is no superiority of one over other .
