Is Memory Loss And Skin Rash Due To Tamezapam?

Question: Ive had sleep problems since i was a child..ive tried every precribed sleeping pill out there with no relief. The only pill that does work is tamezapam. Ive taken it responsibly for the last few years. Lately i seem to have some memory loss after ive taken the pill and a skin rash. Can you develop an allergy to it even after years of taking it?

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Yes, it is possible to develop an adverse drug reaction even after using it for years. Infact I had to discontinue many of my patients who had been stable on drugs as they developed reaction to them after years of using them.
Now that temazepam is not being tolerated, you need to use other options like clonazepam or zolpidem or alprazolam. Even though they might not have been effective during the initial trial but now they may start acting. So they need to be tried again as well.
