Brief Answer: YOU CAN TAKE SUSTEN ORALLY WITH GIVEN DOSE. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments: 1) SUSTEN is a natural micronized progesterone which helps to support your pregnancy and prevents possible miscarriage in early weeks. It is quite SAFE during pregnancy. 2) It can be taken one to two times daily depending on your doctor's advice and the cause for which she prescribed it. If you don't have any problem, then once a day (200 mg) is enough generally. 3) This medicine can be taken ORALLY or used VAGINALLY according to your clinical condition. If you are not comfortable vaginally, then you can take this orally with above mentioned dose. There is NO harmful effect to liver within therapeutic dose. Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query. Wish your good health and successful motherhood. Brief Answer: PANTOCID-L TAB IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN PREGNANCY. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for additional query. NO, you CAN'T take PANTOCID-L (Pantoprazole combined drug) during pregnancy as it is under category B. Instead of that, you can take Ranitidine tab (like ACILOC etc) in empty stomach as required or ISPAGHULA HUSK (like FYBOGEL etc) at bed time with some water. Take healthy diet with more vegetables, drink more water and need sound sleep. Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion. All the best and good luck. Regards, Dr Soumen

Brief Answer: DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for query. 1) An early pregnancy viability scan can be performed from 6 weeks of pregnancy and it is done through Trans Vaginal Ultrasound. Viability scan may be done through Trans Abdominal Ultrasound at 7-11 weeks of pregnancy. 2) One HIV screening test is generally done in first trimester (most cases). If it is NOT done in first trimester, then it MUST BE done in third trimester. 3) YES, you can take STREPSILS for sore throat. It is quite effective. Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion. All the best and good luck. Regards, Dr Soumen
