Is Pain Under The Left Shoulder Indicative Of Pancoast Tumor?

Question: I'm scared that I might have a pancoast tumor. I have the pain under left shoulder blade. I am a 55 year old male. I smoke.

I have the pain under my left shoulder blade which is a common symptom. And I smoke.

I know that it's rare. But when your life is bad and your depressed these are the things you think about.

Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. First of all, please do not worry. You just have pain over scapular region which doesnot state that you can have cancer. You should get a chest xray done to rule out any lung disease and it will also rule out cancer. Pain can be likely due to local.muscular cause. Of course, you are smoker and thats a risk factor for smoking, you must quit smoking.

Yep there it is. I've got gallstones just like my dad did. I guess that explains the pain in my side and the nausea without vomiting episodes. What should I do until serving. Can gallstones be removed any other way. What should I not eat to keep attacks from happening.

Hello dear. So if gallstones are the cause of pain, they must be removed as they can cause cholecystitis and infection. There is no other way except.surgery. Meanwhile yoi can simply.use analgesics to releive the pain.
