What Causes Acute Back Pain After Consumption Of A Hot Drink?
I am getting acute back pain attacks in my mid back right of my spine. 1 year and 1/2 ago I went to the emergency room for accute pain where my gallbladder is. The doctor ran the (hida???scan)the gall bladder scan/test on me and it showed no gall stones. Now, this acute back pain hits more frequently and radiates up into my chest and even down into my pelvis. This pain also seems to occurs towards the evening and right after I drink my hot coffee or tea. Do you think that this may be gallbladder related? The pain is pretty extreme.
You probably may be suffering from esophagitis or diffuse esophageal spasm. So this pain may be radiating to the back. Spondylosis or radulopathy or aortic dissection may present like this. Do get it done MRI spine, upper GI endoscopy and serum calcium. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid hot drinks which may induce pain. Please review with reports or consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
