Is Paracetamol Safe For An Infant Suffering From Fever?
Question: My son 1.5 years is having fever for last 3 days. Doctor prescribed Paracetamol and said to wait for 1-2 days. Is that OK?

Tepid sponging will also help. But you might need to wait for 5-7 days for the fever to resolve. It is only if the fever lasts for more than 7 days that you need to get concerned. Another condition which will call for medical attention is lethargy.
