Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headaches, Lethargy, Head Swelling, Tiredness And Balance Problems?
my Husband is suffering from headaches, lethargy and has swelling at the back of his head. he is very tired and looks unwell. He has had blood tests and we ar now waitin for the results of an MRI scan. He has been to a ENT doctor and he found nothing. The symptoms are on the left side and initially he said it felt like something in his ear. He also is suffering from balance issues
As you have mentioned, blood tests, MRI brain scan and clinical evaluation is the right method to proceed with in the case of unexplained headaches, lethargy and head swelling, tiredness and balance problems. There can be problems in the brain or balance mechanism that can cause the symptoms. The MRI brain scan will tell if there is any area or concern or if the nerves and inner ear structures are having any problems.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vivek Chail, Radiologist
