Is Platelet Count Of 99000 A Cause For Concern?
Question: I have platelet count of 90k and WBC of 4k and my dengue test is negative. What could be reason for low counts
I also have intermittent stomach pain and loose motion.
Is there anything i need to be concerned of.

So your have a borderline low platelets of 99000. Platelet count can be low in any viral infection and they recover on its own. If there is no bleeding, or rash , there is nothing to worry. Get it repeated after 3 days. If the trend is falling, then only you may require some additional tests.
