Brief Answer:
High potassium may indicate low hydrocortisone dose.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read your query and understood your concern.
High potassium level in your case may be a sign of insufficient hydrocortisone intake. In special situations ( when the body is in stress) the needs for cortisone are higher. In XXXXXXX disease where the adrenal gland can' t produce cortisol, is recommended to raise the dose of hydrocortisone you take. It may be a sign of excessive intake too.
It should be corrected as soon as possible because may have dangerous effects (arythmia for eg.).

Your situation is a bit complicated and should be treated carefully by different specialist in order to conclude with the best treatment.

Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
