HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

A potassium level of 6.2 is quire high and requires immediate intervention.

Medications that helps are :

1. Levolin Nebulization.
2. Insulin with Dextrose Infusion.
3. Potassium Binders.

For all these you need to visit a doctor or ER. One thing what you can do is eat more sweets , this shall increase the insulin secretion in the body which in turn reduces the potassium levels.

Apart from this drink plenty of water and avoid fruits . Once you meet your doctor ask him to evaluate for the cause of high potassium also.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
