Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Ampiclox?
Question: I had unprotected sex everyday for 3 weeks and I took ampiclox every single time because it helps prevent pregnancy for me, but now I am pregnant and partner wants us to keep it. I'm scared for the baby's health because of the overuse of ampiclox, my question is can the baby's health be affected as a result of ampiclox overuse?

Taking Ampiclox to prevent pregnancy is not an established method of contraception and can have undesired health effects. Please be educated about healthy contraceptive methods.
As far as 3 week dose of ampiclox is concerned, this do not have any effect on the baby you have conceived. But they are the antibiotics to be used cautiously during the pregnancy.
Need not worry, you can continue with the pregnancy if you decide to do so. It will be a healthy pregnancy.
Do get regular scans and blood tests done to ascertain the baby health all though the pregnancy.
