Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Plan-B?

This was not a period but rather related to the PlanB
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
PlanB is a very effective form of emergency contraception. It is a large dose of progesterone that mainly works by disrupting ovulation (release of an egg from the ovary). When you give someone a dose of progesterone, as the level in your blood drops off, you end up having a progesterone withdrawal bleed - it might be described as like a period but lighter. This was the cause of the bleeding that you described and you should expect that your next normal period will also be delayed.
A pregnancy test will turn positive about two weeks after conception. You can calculate when this would occur. The chance that you are pregnancy is extremely small but you must still confirm that the PlanB worked by doing this follow up.
