Question: Hi, I had my period last week, and on the last day I had sex with someone. That was on Friday. I took the morning after pill right away because our condom broke and he ejaculated inside of me. I've been cramping since yesterday, and I've been exhausted every day since Friday. Now I'm bleeding lightly as if I'm about to finish a different period. My period is never this light on day one. Is it normal for my period to have come so quickly? The other thing is that I've also been at the lake and I fell after tubing yesterday in a weird way. So I've noticed that since yesterday the cramping was mostly on one side. Could that have anything to do with it?

Firstly I would like to tell you that your period coming so quickly is not normal. I advise you to get pregnancy testing done. It could be due to other causes like trauma during intercourse, vaginitis, vaginal polyp, hormonal imbalance, etc. I would suggest that you must visit a gynaecologist for proper evaluation.
