Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse On 6th Day Of Menstrual Cycle?
Question: Hi doctor, i have a period for last month on feb 12 and i had unprotected sex at feb 16 / 17.. Is there any possibility to get pregnant..?? My period is delayed for past 9 days...pls suggest me.. I have tried urine test also it is negative only then whatvis the reason for the delay..??

1) According to your last period date, you did unprotected sex on safe period (first 5 days after period over is extremely SAFE) and you have NO chance of pregnancy in this case if previous cycle was quite regular.
2) Normally, period date can alter from 1-7 days due to hormonal imbalance and mental stress. Emotional upset, psychological factors, over weight, diet pattern change etc are some contributing factors.
3) If your recent pregnancy test is NEGATIVE, I can suggest you to take Norethisterone pill (5 mg) twice daily for 5 days. You will get withdrawal bleeding like period within 3-5 days after stopping medicine.
