Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse Soon After Menstruation?

Had sex Friday 18th.. You think there's a possibility of pregnancy? There hasn't been any sex since Fri 18th. I'm just a bit worried. I think its too late to get an emergency contraceptive pill.. Should I do a pregnancy test? Is it too early to do one?
chances of pregnancy is nil.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
I can understand your concerns,
As you told that your course started on 19th but you had intercourse on 18th, it suggests that you just finished your periods around 18th
One week after and before the periods are safe periodso chances of pregnancy is almost nil.
Additionally you are on contraceptive pills.
In this cycle you missed it twice but took it as soon as you remembered, so in this cycle effect of pill in preventing pregnancy can decreased so you must use barrier methods in this cycle.
You can go for home urine pregnancy test , from the next day of your missed period or after 2weeks of intercourse.
In my opinion, you are safe.
Hope it helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.

Just a question for future, if there is intercourse two to three days before a missed pill occurs, does that missed pill influence the possible pregnancy from intercourse two or three days prior?
Also, usually I know about the 7 day rule, but you are saying I need to use extra protection for the rest of the cycle and not just 7 more days. The second missed pill today, I missed it by 14 hours, so not by much.
missing pill may decrease the effect.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry for late reply.
I want to explain you that it is not like each day pill helps in preventing pregnancy but it is combined effect of monthly pills which maintain the hormone to that level so can ovulation does not occur.
So I suggest you that take your pills on exact time. Every other day missing pills may decrease the effect of preventing pregnancy.
Though 7 days rule is mentioned, you should always take extra precautions in XXXXXXX of missing pills.
Hope it helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.
