Is Pregnancy Possible While Having Thinning Of Uterine Lining?
Question: hi there, I have a question I saw my gyno last Monday he said that I had just ovulated when I saw him but my uterus lining is thin, I forgot to ask if it's still possible to fall pregnant? Iv had 7 previous miscarriages, I also have endometriosis and pcos, I will be starting zoladex as soon as my period starts for three months then we are going to try and get me pregnant and help it stick! just wondering if you can explain the likly hood of me falling pregnant this month and what it means to have a thin lining. thank you!!

A thin lining of the endometrium suggests a lesser progesterone support. The fetus needs a thick endometrial lining for implantation so that it remains stuck in the uterus.
At the time of ovulation if the lining of endometrium is more than 8 mm then the chances of pregnancy are present. Right now after ovulation you can start taking progesterone tablets after consulting your gynecologist to help the endometrial lining to grow.

thankyou, I see my gyno again next week, it's probably for the best if it doesn't happen until after he has been able to work on my hormones, I just didn't know if I was to fall pregnant that it may naturaly thicken up, because it would probably be to late to start progesterone now if I was to fall pregnant I'm guessing as I should be due for a period next week? thankyou again saves me questioning it until I can see him again :)!
