Is Progesterone Level In Blood Of 0.2 Ng/ml A Cause For Concern?

Question: Progesterone level of 0.2
Estradiol level 8.6
What do these level mean?
Are they normal?
Oct 13, 2016 was the first date of my period.

Do you have regular periods? These tests were done on which day of your period?
Why did you do these tests? Have you done FSH and LH tests? The above tests need to be done along with FSH and LH. What is the result?

Im on birth control so i have noticed though that my periods are very light. I did my blood test yesterday and i was just letting you that was the day of my last peroid. FSH and LH were not ordered. I saw the doctor because i have been having a sour taste in my mouth for the past month and i have seen the ENT, dentist, had an upper GI series with barium and everything normal in yhat area. I noticed i have mood swings, night sweats, vaginal dryness once in a while. So the doctor ordered these test. Do you think it might be related to something else. Is this taste in my mouth neuro-related. I did test h pylori postive though.. Just trying to figure out this sour taste in my mouth. Im only in birth control pills and now the doctor has me on antibiotocs for h pylori, which i started today.

Welcome back.

When you are on birth control pills, these tests should not be done. Birth control pills suppress your pituitary -ovary axis, and so these hormones will be low.

Sour test is not related to any Gyne conditions that I am aware of.
If you are having night sweats and vaginal dryness, get FSH, LH, and estradiol done after stopping the birth control pills for a month.

Hope the sour test subsides with H.Pylori treatment.
