Is Putting Weight Advisable After Suffering From Non-displaced Tibial Plateau Fracture?
Start with partial weight bearing first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
After 6 weeks of non displaced tibial plateau fracture, you can start with partial weight bearing with the help of walker. If there is no pain or difficulty in walking then you can walk with a stick after 8 weeks and then start walking normally after 10 weeks.
Do take proper calcium and multivitamin supplements for proper healing and mineralization of the bone.
I hope this answers your query.

You can start walking normally after 2 weeks of using stick.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If you are already walking with a stick without any problem or pain then you can start walking normally 2 weeks after you started using the stick. Usually a soft callus forms by 6 weeks and the chances of refracture after that is minimal unless there is a direct injury to the area again.
Hope my answer is helpful.
