Brief Answer:
It might help. No evidence at present

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Pygeum africanum has been used in BPH and its mechanism of action is not known.
2. Its use compared to other medication is not superior, however, few have found it useful.
3. You can try using it. It is essentially non toxic and nothing wrong in trying. Whether, it will work or not is still under discussion.

You can try.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
