Dog has bite me one year before just a small scratch happened.i have not taken any medicine for it tilll now.but now i am scared of any disease.is it fine if i take medicine now?

Hi XXXX, Welcome to HCM. Effects of the dog bite would have worn off by now. So you absolutely need not worry. And anti Rabies vaccine can rarely have side effects. So it should not be taken when not needed. A dog bite can also make you prone to Tetanus. Although there is no chance of developing it now, it is good to take it once a year. Regards
