default
Posted on Wed, 1 Apr 2015
Question: In being on the receiving end of anal sex, how much trauma and pain in the aftermath could one expect?

I have a severely irritated behind. (I've had fissures & hemmeroids before). The pain or soreness almost feels like a tingling all over my buttocks. While a condom was used, Inow in starting to think the pain is std related.

Does this sound like a typical soreness situation? I'm using Vaseline and preparation h wipes the help things.

Any insight?

Brief Answer:
First times have great degree of trauma

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You do not seem to have first time anal intercourse, do you? What you describe seem to be typical soreness after anal intercourse. The local inflammation should subside in a week if you are using vaseline and prep H. You seem to be concerned about STD. There is a chance of STD so a swab from the anus be taken as well and sent for culture and microscopy. IF it is positive it has to be treated as well.

It is not a good idea to encourage anal intercourse if you have fissures and hemorrhoids as it can bleed heavily and controlling the bleed is skilled. I also feel that the hemorrhoid veins could have caused enough of irritation and thus you feel the buttocks are tingling.

Continue the medicines and measures. I advise sitz baths immediately thrice a day and it will ease. I do not recommend anal encounters further.

Hope this helps.
