Is Sharp Abdominal Pain Normal Before Menstruation After A Bilateral Salpingectomy?

Question: i had bilateral salpingectomy done at the end of march to remove migrated essure (had since 2009) is it normal to have a sharp stabbing pain in my lower abdomen that starts a day or 2 before i start my period & lasts up to 2 weeks? its not constant but comes up out of nowhere & will instantly make me stop whatever im doing. Also, the past couple of weeks i am having what seems like hot flashes. Since surgery ive also had a rash type thing almost like acne that goes down the middle of my back & since last week its now on my shoulders as well. It doesnt itch but hurts if i scratch it. dr prescribed me triamcinolone to put on it but it isnt helping. About 2 weeks ago I went to pee & noticed i had a very painful pea size blood blister & when i touch it it popped & bled all day & extremely painful but a few days later couldn't really tell it was there. what was it? I know i am std free but is that some kind of side effect i should be concerned about? I started a new medicine for ulcerative colitis about 2 weeks after surgery called simponi but none of these things really looked like side effects of that
Brief Answer:
Adhesions due to surgery
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) You seem to be suffering from postoperative adhesions in the abdomen which are causing pain you have described.
2) Another possibility is endometriosis which is collection of blood in ovaries.
3) You need to get an ultrasound scan of abdomen to identify these problems.
4) Blood blister seems to be sebaceous cyst causing pain and burst few days later. This is unlikely to recur. Don't worry about it. This is not STD.
5) These are not side effects of simponi.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Hot flashes are not related to this. An ultrasound scan would help to identify the reason for hot flushes.
