Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and all the inconveniences the information on the various websites has caused you.
For a diagnosis to be made, a number of different points have to be put together in order to say so. There is just no way two very vague symptoms that can be present in thousands of different disease conditions would be linked to MS. These symptoms are in no way very suggestive of MS and if at all they do show up, this would be in the very late stages of this disease and not as the main announcing symptoms.
Calm down. If you do have itches and crawling, please get consulted and examined for any possible cause to be identified and treated. This being MS is almost impossible and MS will not even figure on the list of top 100 possible causes.. I would never have thought of this in clinic if you were too walk in and report these symptoms to me.
If I may ask, do you have any particular concerns about multiple sclerosis? If you do, can you share what that is so that we can look into and talk it over?
I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information if need be and I will gladly address them.

Hi and thank you so much for this follow up question.
When you scratch hard from itching, you can injure the small vessels found just underneath the skin. This causes blood to move out of these vessels into the surrounding tissue. This explains the bruise that you have described. It would be nice if you can be gentle each time you try to sooth your itching skin by scratching.
The cause of itching should be diagnosed and managed accordingly. If the cause has not been identified, you doctor can use drugs to stop the itches and permit you to stay free fro itches. Drugs like Benadryl, Zyrtec, steroids, etc are effective at doing this.
Talk to your doctor or you may try one of the above OTC drugs while you get an appointment and follow up with your treating physician.
I hope this helps. I wish you the best of health and do feel free to ask for more questions or request for clarifications if need be.
Thanks.
