Steato hepatitis does not cause neuroendocrine carcinoid.
Several studies have revealed that carconoids are more common in obese people and these people are more likely to have metabolic syndrome and steatohepatitis.
It is an association which has been observed and there is to evidence that steatohepatitis and carcinoid share a common pathology.
