Brief Answer:
it can cause withdrawal, better to taper off

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. i can understand your concern.

Wellbutrin 300 mg is good dose. If you stop it cold turkey, there will be withdrawal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, depression, anger, anxiety, lack of coordination, crying spells, dizziness, irritability, insomnia ,fatigue and so on. Seizure is a rare withdrawal symptoms as it is rather a side effect of wellbutrin.

I recommend tapering the dose if feasible. You can go for 250 mg, 200 mg, 150 mg, 100 mg, 75 mg,50 mg and 25 mg by every week/10 days reduction before the stopping. In any case there is no option and if you go cold turkey ask your doctor to help you for withdrawal treatment.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
