Is Telma Safe To Take For Hypertension?
Question: Hello sir, I have been suffering from hypertension for last 3 years. My regular check resulted with 130/80, 140/90, 150/90. I daily take nebicard 2.5 mg in the morning after breakfast. Recently i had chest discomfort. I consulted doctor and she advised me to go for TMT and 2D Echo test. Reports said normal. I have strong feeling that, due to URT infection, and sinus i get BP.. Adding to that, i get my Ears blocked and as a result, my head becomes weight. After reports seen by doctors, she advised me to take telma 40 mg daily in the night along with Nebicard 2.5 mg. I have mild gastrities also. I am taking homeo medicine regularly for that. Please guide me if i start taking telma 40 mg , should i take continuously for a life time. I am aged 43 and male

Thanking you madam, for answering me. But my point is that whether i should continue to take Telma 40 mg life long along with Nebicard 2.5mg. What exactly i asked is that once started taking telma, after 3 months in a review with doctor if my BP becomes normal, should i continue with Telma or not. One more thing is that madam, please confirm whether BP fluctuates because of presence sinus? I also explained that i have been suffering from mild gastrities. Medicine Telma creates trouble

Hello sir, all anti hypertensive medications needs to be continued life long so tab telma 40 mg has to be continued life long till the blood pressure lowers than the normal value. At that time doctor would stop the tablet till then it has to be continued . Sinusitis is nothing to do with bp. Gastritis all is take timely adequate food with less spicy if at all take digene tab that would be enough
