Is The HIV Duo Test Result Conclusive After 4 Months Of Exposure?

Question: Hello doctor,

I am XXXXXXX I had unprotected sex with sex worker before 4.5 months and i had taken
hiv duo test after 4 months.It's came negative..Knidly help me whether really i am hiv
negative.Because i know hiv window period is 3 months,but late sero converion is also
possible for some cases, what are all the cases..or do i need to take pcr test for
confirm my hiv status.

You had unprotected sex but HIV Duos test after 3 months is negative then nothing to worry at all and no need to go for any further test for HIV because the window period for HIV also varies from 15days to 3 months.
