Is The Inside And Outside Of Labia Minora Suppose To Be Smooth Or Bumpy?

Question: I have a question. Is the inside and outside of labia minora suppose to be smooth or bumpy? The reason I ask is because mine seems to be bumpy and I have tons of small bumps all over the inside and outside and they are different sizes as well. I do shave so maybe the bumps on the outside explains that but I have no idea where the little tiny bumps on the inside of the labia came from. Unless they are genital warts. I have no itching, no discharge, no pain, no random bleeding and the bumps have not changed size or color. What do you think they could be? I am going to see a doctor on Friday to get them looked at I'm just wondering if I could get an opinion before I see the doctor on Friday.
Brief Answer:
Bumps over labia
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
There is a benign condition called vestibular papillae in which you can see small bumps on the inside of labia minora. Bumps on the outside could be pseudofolliculitis due to shaving. Other possibilities are fordyce's spots (Ectopic sebaceous glands), genital warts and molluscum contagiosum.
Fordyce's spots and vestibular papillae can be left alone. Genital warts and Molluscum Contagiosum are sexually transmitted and needs treatment.
Hope this helped,
Take care.
