Question: Is there any connection between the drug Ropinirole, taken for Restless Leg Syndrome, and Myelodysplastic Syndrome where the bone marrow fails to produce platelets?

Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the details.
MDS is a blood related disorder usually seen in the 65 plus age group. As far as drug related MDS is concerned, it is related to chemotherapy drugs like alkylating agents and anthracyclines.
Ropinirole has not been found to be related to MDS.
