Is There Any Issues In Missing Third Day Rabies Vaccination For Dog Bite?

Question: dear sir

my 5 year old male child bitten by dog last saturday and we given rapies vax in hour time and doctor advised the next vaccine 7th day but actualy itshould be

0 day- 3rd day -7th day-14th day-28th day but we missed 3rd due vacccination

kindly advise is there any issue to baby missed by 3rd day due vaccination and continuing other due vaccinaion

need your kind advise and any altrnate pls

Thanks for writing to us.
I can understand that your doctor has missed the third day vaccine which should have been the second dose.
But don't worry. Nothing harmful will happen.
You have taken the first shot soon.
The other doses just boost up the immunity.
Having said that I would recommend you to.take two doses one on day 7 and one on day 8.
Follow it up with remaining doses as.usual at day 14 and day 28.

thanks but 7th day dose i have taken 6th day itself since i missed the 3rd day dose so pls advise is it ok to take 8th day dose that is today

also advise how many more dose should we give to baby including 8th day ie today in case it is required to take

0-6-10-17-31 ( all in day) pls advs how to follow for furthr for betterment pls advs me pls

also diet to follow to follow further and for how many months
