Brief Answer:
Medications and pacemaker treatment depends on cause of abnormal ECG

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
ECG or electrocardiography is an investigation that shows the electrical activity of your heart. There are certain changes in electrical activity which can be due to various conditions. Changes in ECG need to be followed up by doing echocardiography and other tests. Any person having problems with ECG should discuss that with the cardiologist and if required electrophysiological assessment might be necessary.

Concerning medications, there is no single medication to correct ECG. The emphasis is on correcting the rhythm of heart and blood flow through coronary arteries.

Some people with rhythm abnormalities might require permanent pacemaker implants to regularize ECG rhythms.

RANCAD 500 (ranolazine) is an anti-anginal medication and given for chest pain due to heart problems. It is to be taken under supervision of your doctor.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.

Is it possible to have all the leads Inverted T during TMT?

Answered by Dr. Vivek Chail (15 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
It is not possible to have all leads showing inverted T waves

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

It is not possible to have all the leads inverted T waves during TMT. Inverted T waves are usually seen on V1 lead and rarely on V2 and V3 leads. T wave changes such as inversion and pseudo-normalisation (an inverted T wave that becomes upright) are non-specific changes.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Echocardiography is important

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

I get what you have written. Sometimes some leads can show inversion during exercise as in TMT. However one should remember that the TMT findings are not absolute and parameters like valvular function, wall motion and cardiac chamber assessment must be seen on echocardiography. In other words, though TMT can give some inputs, an echocardiography is important to study main functions of your heart.

Hope your query is answered.
