Is There Any Relationship Between Tooth Loss And Tongue Cancer?
Does not seems true..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain a missing tooth have not seen to cause tongue cancer and it is not a correct information given to you..
If you have a tooth missing and of it is a back tooth it can lead to difficulty in chewing and even in long standing cases the adjacent teeth drift in the empty space left after tooth fall and the alignment of teeth disturbs.
So a bridge can prevent all these conditions but cancer does not seems relevant in this case..
If you have any sharp edges of teeth get them smoothened so that they do not injure the tongue or inner cheeks..
If you wish to get the lost tooth replaced bridge or implant is a good option and you can proceed with it but do not fear of cancer as it is not caused if a tooth is lost..
Any further questions are welcome..
Wishing you a good health..
Thanks and regards.
