Question: I took advil by mistake with plavix and have some bleeding? if i stop using Advil will the bleeding stop?

Dr. Ditah, thank you for the quick reply. So far on urination, 3x, quantity of bleeding has been a teaspoonful or less each time. Just in the last day. The plavix (clopedigral) is for PAD in my legs. I am most concerned that the bleeding will stop now that I have stopped using the Advil.

I will suggest that we stay calm and monitor to see what the difference that makes. Should the bleeding continue, then I will suggest that we run a full clotting profile to see what the exact issue might be. However, I am pretty sure that this will most likely sure following these changes.
